Aesthetic medicine" is a medical behavior, please choose a legal hospital carefully

(1) The National Immigration Agency appeals that " Aesthetic medicine " belongs to the category of medical behavior. People should carefully choose legal medical institutions and qualified personnel, and do not take illegal beauty treatment for the sake of cheapness. If foreigners are found to be illegally engaged in beauty treatment, The public is also encouraged to report to Brigades, breaking the illegality together.

(2) According to the relevant provisions of the Physicians Act, those engaged in medical activities must have a legal doctor qualification and obtain the permission of the competent health authority; those who perform medical work without obtaining a legal doctor qualification, except those who fall under any of the circumstances of Article 28 of the Physicians Act , shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than 6 months but not more than 5 years, and may also be fined not less than NT$300,000 but not more than NT$1.5 million.
