▍The rainy season is coming, beware of mosquito-borne diseases
Taiwan gets hot and muggy in the summer months, so it is important to keep indoor and outdoor environments clean to avoid dengue fever spread by mosquito breeding sites
1. Remove stagnant water where mosquitoes tend to breed, such as flower pots, abandoned tires, water sinks, balconies or rooftops. Also clean up and recycle waste containers regularly.
2. Wear long-sleeved shirts and light-colored pants when outdoors and use mosquito repellent when necessary.
3. Shut indoor window screens and use mosquito light zappers or repellents.
