According to the Constitution and Act Governing the Allocation of Government Revenues and Expenditures, the current tax structure in Taiwan includes two types of tax: National Tax (Central Government Tax), and Special Municipalities, Counties, and County-Level Cities Tax (Local Tax).
Tax revenue is the most important financial source to support Government’s plans and policies. Everyone has to file taxes according to regulations so that Government can start more public construction, which benefits everyone.
