The 2017 Program to Subsidize Overseas Youth Volunteer Service Teams of the Youth Development Administration, Ministry of Education

To encourage groups of R.O.C. youth between the ages of 18 and 30 to participate in overseas (areas outside of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu) volunteer service, the Youth Development Administration, Ministry of Education collaborates with civil groups, colleges, and universities to use the expertise and knowledge of youth to provide valuable services for other countries and regions. The members of the subsidized units include one second-generation youth from a new immigrant family who serves in the country of origin of either of their parents. Additional subsidy of NT$5,000 on top of the subsidy amount approved for the original team is provided for this. Each team is limited to two such members. Second-generation youth from new immigrant families are actively encouraged to apply!
