Ministry of Labor Regulations on Subsidies for Employers to Hire Local Caregivers

The Ministry is providing subsidies to encourage the people of Taiwan to work as long-term caregivers to reduce the number of foreign at-home caregivers. Employers that are qualified to employ foreign at-home caregivers but have not employed said caregivers can apply for subsidies from public employment service agencies if they comply with relevant provisions and hire a local caregiver that is introduced by the local government.
