The Food the Drug Administration has published the “Safety Medication Handbook for New Immigrants.” Available in Chinese, English, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Thai and Khmer, the handbook aims to promote medication safety for foreign workers and immigrants. It provides information on medicines, drug packaging, medication in various populations (women, children, seniors, expectant mothers, etc.), patient care and medication for common chronic diseases (hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, etc.) and other illnesses.
