Immigrants to Taiwan shall be covered by the national health insurance (NHI) after they have been granted residency for at least 6 months. An exception applies where they are regular employees, who shall be insured from the start date of employment.
The Changhua County Government has been subsidizing prenatal checkups for non-NHI-covered immigrant women. We hope to ensure a healthy pregnancy through regular prenatal checkups for them.
