The National Immigration Agency has established the Life Advisory Service Hotline for Foreigners in Taiwan (0800-024-111) in hopes of offering better services and information for foreigners (including foreign spouses). Details of the hotline service are as follows.
1. Target users: Foreigners (including foreign spouses) who will stay or are currently staying in Taiwan.
2. Services offered: information and guidance on staying/living in Taiwan as well as adaptation. Covered issues include visas, residency, work, learning and culture, taxation, health insurance, transportation, career assistance, health and medical care, safety, parenthood, traffic access, welfare, legal consultation, interpretation services, family support, and other aspects of living.
3. Languages available: Chinese, English, Japanese, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai and Khmer (Cambodian).
4. Service hours:
 (1) Chinese, English, and Japanese: 24 Hours A Day, 7 Days A Week. 
 (2) Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai, and Cambodian: Mondays to Fridays (excluding national holidays and other breaks) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
