Kind reminder: The earlier you apply, the more benefits you get!
1. Target group: New residents from low (middle) income family who hold resident permit (including widower or divorcee who raise minors alone in Taiwan).
2. Subsidized amount: Full subsidy for new residents from low income family with no household registration. Half subsidy for new residents from middle income family with no household registration.
3. How to apply: Fill out the application form, enclose the applicant's ID card, residence permit, household certificate, and low (middle) income certificate and bring the documentations to the district office, National Health Insurance Administration’s division or liaison office.
4. Duration of subsidy: From the month of application to December of the same year. Must be renewed on annual basis.
※Once the new resident obtained the ID card, the subsidy shall be stopped immediately.
