People with ROC Nationality Applying for Automatic Inspection and Customs Clearance System

People with ROC nationality are only required to hold a "Taiwan Passport" or "ROC (Taiwan) Exit & Entry Permit" and photo IDs issued by the government agency (such as ID cards, health insurance cards, or drivers license) to register for free at the application counter (ROC (Taiwan) Exit & Entry Permit can only be used in the Kinmen Shuitou Commercial Port).

At the time of application, the computer will screen and record the applicant's facial image or the index fingerprints for both hands (which is voluntary instead of mandatory) before the applicant signs his/her name on the application form to complete the entire procedure that lasts for approximately 2 minutes.
