National Immigration Agency appeals to new immigrants who do not have to tolerate domestic violence and call 113 for help. Let governmental agencies to intervene in time.
The central and local governments have systems to handle domestic violence cases, providing legal assistance, shelter, medical treatment, and psychological therapy. National Immigration Agency will also renew residence permit in accordance with regulations and keep confidentiality throughout the process of handling the cases to protect victims’ rights and safety and avoid the assailant’s abuse again. If any private sectors know of any domestic violence cases, please contact local governments’ Center for Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault immediately and provide assisting service to assure victim of safe life.
