To encourage new immigrants participating in occupational courses and reduce their barriers of participation and burden on families, Taoyuan City provides financial support for new immigrants to learn skills in the hope that they will become productive labors as soon as possible with stable employment to improve personal and families’ living quality.

Foreign spouses with a residence permit and Chinese spouses who have a residence permit as dependents, or long-termly or permanently reside in Taiwan are eligible for applying for subsidies for their children under (including) the age of 6. If their children stay in legal daycare institutions during their occupational training, the maximum of the whole day daycare subsidy is NTD$ 5,000 for each child per month. The maximum subsidy one can receive is NTD$ 15,000 per month.

Time for Application: May 1 to November 11, 2018. First come first serve. Once the budget is used up, applications will no longer be accepted. For more information, please visit the website of Taoyuan City Government Employment Services or call Taoyuan City Government Employment Service at (03)3322101#8016.
