Essentials of Encouraging Unemployed Workers to Participate in Care Service Announced by Ministry of Labor

1. In order to increase care service workforce and assist unemployed workers, Ministry of Labor encourages unemployed workers to join home health care service agencies and senior day care centers to provide care services. Ministry of Labor will apply employment benefits to unemployed labor.
2. If unemployed period lasts for more than 30 days or involuntary unemployed occurs, unemployed labor can go to public employment service agencies to register their job-searching status. Those who have employment counseling and are employed by home health care service agencies or senior day care centers for more than 30 days can apply for employment benefits provided by public employment service agencies. The benefit is between NTD$5,000 and NTD$7,000 per month for a maximum of 18 months.
