Tuberculosis is mainly transmitted by air rather than by clothes or food. Citizens contacting tuberculosis patients shall be checked by health institutions. If the latent tuberculosis infection is diagnosed, citizens shall visit the physicians, who shall determine whether the preventive medication is required. However, the latent tuberculosis infection is not contagious.
