Before the age of 3, it is the most important stage for the development of the brain of young children. The Children Welfare Service Center, BSA, KCG has considered the factors of language and cultural environment of the new immigrants. The website is convenient for parents to use and helps parents to easily review the child's development status. "Early discovery, early treatment", accompany children to grow up happily.

Xiao Xing, aged nearly 2, was not that willing to learn how to speak which made the mother very worried. By chance, his mother took him to participate in the parent-child class conducted by Kaohsiung City Early Intervention Notification and Referral Service Center. At the beginning, he could not sit still, liked to walk around, and didn't respond when someone was calling him. An occupational therapist guided the mother on how to lead him to raise his hands, sing a song, and play with other children. Five weeks later, he gradually understood simple instructions and started interacting with other children. With the assistance of social workers, his interactive skills have been improving.

Children Welfare Service Center, BSA, KCG stated that due to language barriers and cultural differences, many new immigrant mothers know little about children's development. Thanks to the multilingual Child Development Scale, they can now easily review their children's development status. To assist them in grasping the comprehensive development status of children, the scale is presented in various languages, including Chinese, English, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai, Cambodian, and Malaysian and was uploaded on the websites of the Social Affairs Bureau, the Children Welfare Service Center, Kaohsiung City Early Intervention Notification and Referral Service Center...etc.

Children Welfare Service Center, BSA, KCG called on parents who have children aged 0-6 to pay more attention to their development. If children have developmental delays, parents are advised to call at 07-3985011 for early intervention.
