To stimulate the potential of new immigrants and their children, provide job opportunities, and promote social engagement and international competitiveness, the “New Initiative – All-round Empowerment Program for New Immigrants” was proposed and then implemented from January 2016 to December 2017. The Program involves five categories, including language, employment, empowerment, diverse services, and care, and aims to allow new immigrants to demonstrate their cultural advantages and confidence and become the new strength for national development.
