The Directorate General of Highways, MOTC aims to help immigrants adapt to living in Taiwan more smoothly by offering free copies of motorcycle/scooter driving test questions at local motor vehicle offices. The questions were compiled in December 2008, with the following bilingual versions available: Chinese-Vietnamese, Chinese-Indonesian, Chinese-Thai, Chinese-Cambodian, Chinese-Burmese, Chinese-English and Chinese-Japanese. Immigrants who need a driver’s license are welcome to ask for a copy. We hope that this will help them pass the test and make their life more convenient.
In December 2009, the car driving test questions were released in 8 languages. Audio versions of test questions for both cars and motorcycles/scooters were also recorded in 10 languages. The translated versions were distributed to local motor vehicle offices for immigrants to choose from.
On May 1, 2010, the Directorate General of Highways, MOTC launched an online learning system on its website. Test questions and mock exams (including oral ones) are available for download in 8 languages. The system is expected to familiarize immigrants with the tests.
Starting from July 1, 2015, test takers may also visit the website to find test questions for motorcycles/scooters as well as mock exams in multiple languages.
