Hepatitis B can be passed down to babies from mothers during the process of giving birth. However, as long as babies inject Hepatitis B Immunoglobulin or Hepatitis B vaccine, it could reduce the chance babies get Hepatitis B. Breastfeeding will not increase the possibility of getting Hepatitis B for babies so that mothers can feel assured.
