Civil Affairs Bureau of New Taipei City Government’s Support Platform New Immigrant Care Program

1. Effective January 1, 2020, Civil Affairs Bureau of New Taipei City Government offers new immigrants excluded from National Health Insurance subsidies to cover a portion of their medical bills due to accidents or illnesses, implementing measures to take care of new immigrants.

2. New immigrants can apply to the household registration office near their residence in the city within two months of the incident qualifying them for a medical subsidy. The office will then review the case and distribute the subsidies.
