Smoking Is Prohibited in Areas near Schools at All Levels up to and including Senior and Vocational High Schools

Starting from September 1, 2016, smoking is prohibited at the gate, parent pick-up areas, and sidewalks near schools at all levels up to and including senior and vocational high schools in New Taipei City. According to Subparagraph 13, Paragraph 1, Article 15 of Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act, violators will be fined more than NT$2,000 but less than NT$10,000.
