Aid for Unemployment

Unemployed workers may receive assistance through: public employment service institutes that offer counseling or vocational training; the unemployment insurance program that provides temporary benefits or living allowances if the worker is undergoing vocational training. In addition, full national health insurance (NHI) subsidy is provided to workers as well as for their family dependents for the duration of receiving unemployment benefit payments or living allowances. Unemployed workers whose children are receiving education may also apply for school subsidies.
