Reference Form for Inspection and Quarantine Provisions of Inbound Travelers Carrying Common Animals and Plants or Their Products

Starting from October 1, 2008, inbound travelers carrying animals and plants or their products who fail to take the initiative to notify the Customs Administration, Ministry of Finance or apply to Bureau of Animal and Plant Health Inspection and Quarantine for the inspection and quarantine shall be subjected to a fine of NT$3,000 or more and those with serious violation shall be brought to justice.
