Foreign Professionals Receive Rental Incentives in Taiwan.

In order to speed up the internationalization of Taiwan’s economy, Taiwanese Government actively recruits foreign professionals to work in Taiwan. As long as foreign workers take professional jobs and meet for particular qualifications, employers should pay: foreign professionals and their spouses and dependents’ travel expenses, including travels to Taiwan for the job appointment and travels back to their home countries during the breaks after working for a certain time period, in accordance with the employment contract; moving expenses; and utility expenses. These expenses should not be considered as taxable income. Those who have dual nationalities, one of which is Taiwan, are not qualified.
