How Often Should You be Getting Tested for HIV

1. Sexually active: get tested for HIV at least once.

2. Unprotected sexual intercourse: get tested at least once a year.

3. For those at higher risk (e.g. sharing needles, multiple sexual partners, drug use, and STD): get tested every 3 to 6 months.
