Vocational Training for the Unemployed by the Taichung City Government

The Labor Affairs Bureau of the Taichung City Government has planned vocational training programs for the unemployed. The programs are available only to unemployed people who are 15 or above, and in need of training. The courses are generally arranged during daytime and offered at no cost for trainees who meet the criteria for free enrollment; other trainees will be charged 20% of the training fees. Eligible trainees must take classes of at least 100 hours each month, for at least four hours each class day, at least four times each week and at least one month during the term in order to apply for allowances to their training institution.
