2017 New Immigrant Pre-Employment Training Statistics Provided by Ministry of Labor

New immigrants are encouraged to participate in vocational training to improve employment skills and increase employability. By the end of October 2017, a total of 1,513 people (including 361 foreign spouses and 1,152 Chinese spouses) participated in pre-employment training offered by Ministry of Labor’s Workforce Development Agency.
