Taichung City wishes to enhance new immigrants with their new life in Taiwan. From now on the designated contact window for new immigrants in 29 district Household Registration Offices and multi-language versions of “New Immigrants in Taiwan” quick access brochure in Chinese, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai and English are available. The brochure covers from frequent Chinese characters literacy, pre-job trainings, job seeking, kids and baby health care, pregnancy exam subsidy, domestic assistance, legal consult, motorbike driving license exam assistance, to library access and book borrowing, family relationships and emotion adjustment, etc. Above information is also available at
