Newborn babies who meet one of the following criteria, who establishes their household registration in Taoyuan City for more than one year, and whose parent, father or mother, establishes his or her household registration in Taoyuan City upon the time of application can apply for maternity benefit subsidy. 

1.Newborn babies have birth registration at local government offices. 

2.Newborn babies who are not born in Taiwan establish their household registration in local government offices of Taoyuan City after returning Taiwan. 

(The calculation of the establishment of household registration starts on the date of moving in Taoyuan City and ends on the date of birth of the newborn babies.)

Subsidy Amount: (According to the birth certificate of newborn babies)

1.Singleton: NTD$30,000 for each child.

2.Twins: NTD$35,000 for each child.

3.Triplets: NTD$45,000 for each child.
