Regarding the group quarantine for migrant workers, the local government was not informed, and the residents were worried about causing spread in domestic. CECC specifically clarifies that for those who need to enter the group quarantine, they will be sent to the group quarantine by the anti-epidemic taxi at the time of entry, and will not contact the community. The quarantine office has strict infection control measures and medical staff to conduct health monitoring, so it will not form a community epidemic prevention breach.
Since the end of January of 2020, there have been 27 group quarantine sites in the country, with a total of 4,940 people. This includes 1,160 workers. So far, there has been no confirmed case of any migrant workers, and there have been no breaches of epidemic prevention due to the epidemic caused by group quarantine personnel.
CECC stated that it will continue to cooperate with local governments to ensure the safety of community epidemic prevention.
