To encourage new residents attending occupational training courses, remove attendance barriers and reduce the financial burden on families, the government hopes this could encourage new residents to learn new skills for employment and become an effective source of labor productivity in order to improve the quality of life for both individuals and families through long-term employment.

Foreign spouses holding an Alien Resident Certificate (ARC), and spouses from mainland China holding an ARC, long-term residence permit or APRC may be eligible to apply for this allowance when they attend the occupational training provided by the Bureau, if they have children under the age of 6 who are entrusted to legal daycare institutions. Each long day care child is entitled to a maximum of NT$5,000 per month, with a limit of up to NT$15,000 per person.

Date: 2020/5/1~2020/11/30. Reception will be stopped when the annual expenses are exhausted.
