In order to improve the literacy of foreign and Mainland Chinese spouses of Taoyuan City residents, the Ministry of Education shall provide subsidies to nationals and foreign /Mainland Chinese spouses aged 15 and above who are illiterate or have not completed elementary school education to allow them to learn Chinese for free.
