Starting from today, new immigrants and their minors who apply for the elementary schools and junior high schools in Taiwan with their foreign academic records may go through the notarization process of their foreign graduation certificates and grade reports at a local government agency upon the request of the school.


Precautions:
* At present, recognition of foreign academic records to apply for elementary schools and junior high schools in Taiwan is opened for new immigrants and their minors from countries other than Mainland China.
* Holders of academic records notarized by embassies may voluntarily apply for schools in the vicinity of their households.
