Contagious Disease Prevention and Health Education

To keep the good quality of long-term care, everyone should wash hands frequently. When washing hands, one should make sure if fingers, the gap between fingers, palms, back of the hands, and wrists are clean. Also, one should wash hands immediately before eating, before and after having contact with patients, after going to the restroom, after blowing one’s nose, and coughing.

Correct steps to wash hands: Wetting Hands, Rubbing Hands, Rinsing Hands, Watering the Facet, and Drying Hands.

Ministry of Health and Welfare provides new immigrants with health education information about contagious disease prevention. For relevant information, please visit the website of the Ministry of Health and Welfare’s Centers for Disease Control.
